The organization seeks to encourage self-confidence, discipline, responsibility, and a strong sense of national pride. By promoting constructive thinking and responsible citizenship, ThinkPhilippines aims to help Filipinos become active participants in building a better and more prosperous nation.

What we do
Barangay Transformation Center
Every great nation is built one community at a time.
While many barangays work tirelessly to deliver essential public services, many of the challenges facing our country today cannot be solved by infrastructure, budgets, or government programs alone. Issues such as discipline, integrity, responsibility, volunteerism, respect for the law, environmental stewardship, family values, and active citizenship are fundamentally issues of mindset and culture.
ThinkPhilippines believes that when people change the way they think, communities begin to change. When communities change, the nation follows.
That is why we are developing the ThinkPhilippines Barangay Transformation Center.
Rather than creating another government program, our goal is to become a trusted nonprofit partner that equips barangays with practical tools, educational resources, volunteer networks, and proven best practices that help strengthen communities from within, such as:

Mindset
Mindset is the collection of beliefs, attitudes, assumptions, and ways of thinking that shape how a person interprets the world, makes decisions, and responds to situations.
In simple terms:
Mindset is how you think.
And how you think determines how you act.
Why is mindset important?
Mindset influences almost every aspect of life:

The People Behind
Oscar Manansala
Founder
A seasoned professional with extensive experience in accounting, finance and real estate. He has played key roles in syndicating, managing, and scaling real estate investment portfolios. Took up accounting and law at the University of the East and worked initially at SGV & Co., CPAs. Passionate about the importance of changing midsets for the advancement of society.
Lino Caringal Jr.
Board Chairman
A 1972 PMA graduate and an engineer by training, he served in the Philippine Navy and retired with the rank of Captain in 1988. After moving to the United States, he pursued studies in law and and now advises clients on financial and insurance planning. He remains actively involved in community service and has founded, organized and led various local and international civic and charitable organizations.
Helen Pettegrew
Board Secretary
A retired IT professional from San Jose University, she brings deep expertise as a Network Engineer, including work with Boeing and FMC Corporation under U.S. Navy contracts. Holding a degree in Economics and an MBA from MLQ University, she has technical insight and perspective on oneof the key drivers of national progress – economic development.
Joey Narciso
Board Treasurer
A former Special Investigator of the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) specializing in cybercrime investigation. He is the founder and the missionary pastor of Abide Christian Fellowship in Los Angeles, and currently works as a licensed real estate agent and mortgage loan officer in California. His diverse experience in public service, ministry, and business reflects his continuing commitment to serving people and contributing positively to the Filipino community.
Kath Estaquio-Derla
Director
A successful entrepreneur and book publisher. She is head of Publishing for HS Grafik Print, a design, print, and publishing business. She founded Paperkat Books, a self publishing arm that offers publishing, mentoring, marketing and distribution services. An accomplished writer herself, she also leads Story Factory, connecting writers with film and TV producers.
Plaridel Tiamzon
Director
A retired banker and entrepreneur, he successfully launched ventures in home construction and car rental before migrating to the United States. He later worked in satellite broadcasting and worked with ABS-CBN International to market TFC, The Filipino Channel. Committed to public service, he is an ABS-CBN Foundation Ambassador, raising funds for disaster victims.
Josefina Sioson
Adviser
A California real estate broker and business executive with decades of experience in real estate and mortgage services. A longtime advocate of homeownership and real estate investment, she has also served her community as a volunteer recognized by the City of Yorba Linda for her contribution to a historic property survey project. Married for 46 years, she is a proud mother of three professional daughters who now have families of their own.
